Avoid Chronic Inflammation - February 2021

Last month's Tip provided lists of foods that are beneficial and detrimental to joint health. These foods not only impact joint health, but also affect health in other ways. Most of the beneficial foods listed last month will help the body fight inflammation. The foods that decrease joint health contribute also to inflammation. While inflammation is a natural and critical part of the body's healing mechanism, chronic inflammation can be the underlying cause of fatigue, pain and other health problems. Eating healthful foods is one way to help your body use inflammation for healing while avoiding chronic inflammation.
