Eat for Healthy Joints - January 2021

Here is a list of foods that contain nutrients that improve the health of your joints:

  • Nuts and seeds
  • Coldwater fish, olive oil, and other omega-3 foods
  • Cruciferous vegetables
  • Fruit
  • Beans & Lentils
  • Dark chocolate
  • Garlic, turmeric, and other root vegetables
  • Whole grains
  • Bone broth

Conversely, these foods decrease joint health:

  • Fried and processed foods
  • Sugar and refined carbohydrates
  • Foods high in saturated and Omega-6 fats
