Get Moving - September 2022

To continue from where last month's Tip left off, exercise doesn't have to involve going to a gym, attending a HIIT class, or lifting weights. For example, have you ever been exhausted after moving from one home to another? Packing and carrying boxes up stairs and down, out of one home and into another, sometimes takes days. It can be exhausting even thinking about having to move, let alone actually moving. While moving may be an extraordinary example, it definitely shows how the activities of life can provide the means for exercise. Things like walking to a nearby shop instead of driving and taking the stairs instead of the elevator are more common healthy activities. Take time to consider your daily routine and make changes to incorporate more healthful movement into your lifestyle.
