Many of my clients who have children have told me how difficult it is to find time to work out. Instead of trying to find free time away from your family to squeeze in a workout, take your children along. Here are a few ways get your workout done, and inspire your family to be fit too:
- Go on a family bike ride
- Walk or jog with your children, or push them in a stroller
- Include kids in a short stretching routine
- Play catch, tag, or other games
- Swim or play in the pool
- Use playground equipment for strength training while you're at the park with your children
Make a point to include your family in your workouts, and have fun being fit together!
