The 90/10 Rule - September 2017

We all know that our diet is critical to our health. One aspect of this is that a good diet helps us maintain the proper body weight and composition. A key to maintaining a good diet is consistency. Our bodies do well when we manage our calorie intake from day to day by eating at regular intervals. The "90/10 Rule" is one guideline that I often find useful: Make sure that 90% of the foods and drinks you have are very nutritious, so that you can afford about 10% of what you eat to be those enjoyable treats that may not offer much in the way of health. By following this "rule", you can be healthy without feeling deprived. This "rule" is one key to long-term success!
