Maintain Lean Mass - June 2017

Around our mid-twenties, we naturally begin to lose a little lean mass every year. One goal of strength training is to offset this muscle loss. Weight training enables us to at least maintain and even gain lean mass. Current recommendations are to complete a resistance training routine for all muscle groups at least two times per week. More detailed exercise plans can be designed to help meet specific fitness goals.
