Why is it important to stay hydrated? Primarily, because every cell and every essential function performed in our bodies requires water! It is one of the most fundamental needs in our lives.

We obtain water from the foods we eat as well as from the liquids we drink. We can stay hydrated by drinking at least a quart of water every day, and by eating a diet especially rich in fruits and vegetables. Signs of dehydration include not only thirst, but also fatigue, inability to focus, lightheadedness, and many other symptoms. As you are consuming enough water, you should notice the opposite effects.

Make it a point of focus this month to stay hydrated so you can feel and be your best!
