Target Aerobic Fitness - October 2019

The third component of fitness that we'll focus on is cardiorespiratory endurance. This is a big name for what is more commonly called aerobic fitness, stamina, or simply endurance. It is defined as the ability to exercise continuously for extended periods without tiring. Activities that improve aerobic fitness include walking, running, biking, rowing, dancing, using cardio equipment such as an elliptical trainer, and so on. The reason it's so important to develop this component of fitness is because it is essential to maximizing health. It is the key to having a strong heart, improving circulation, burning calories, achieving and maintaining proper body composition, and living a long, healthy life.
