Consistent physical activity is a key to being physically fit. To achieve this, it's important to try to be active for one hour every day. Of course, putting an hour of exercise on your schedule every day is a great idea, but may not be feasible for everyone. You may find it easier to break the hour into smaller chunks. A few ideas would be to take short walks, climb stairs, or do bodyweight strength circuits a few times a day. Being active more often during the day brings the added benefit of staying mentally refreshed and alert.
